CORE SUBJECTS

We implement the American curriculum, emphasizing 4 CORE SUBJECTS - Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Studies. These core subjects are deconstructed into mini subjects to enhance focus on specific learning objectives, thereby reducing the abstract nature of traditional subject titles. Mini subjects are designed to address particular skills that learners need to develop. For example, in English, the essential skills that learners must acquire at any level include reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This approach provides clarity on the content covered in subjects like Reading and Comprehension or Writing. In other core subjects, mini subjects encompass a combination of skills and topics, with related ones grouped together and named accordingly. Each mini subject is accompanied by detailed topics referred to as 'Quests', which learners work through. Upon successful completion of a 'Quest', learners earn a 'Cheevo', our playful term for achievement! Driving this educational model is a dedicated team of experienced educators, researchers, and innovators.
